No Real Life Superman

Growing up as a kid. We watched many superhero movies that gave us some type of comfort. That someone will somehow be there every time to save us. #superman #superwoman

This is what the movies and cartoons portrayed. As we eased into adulthood, we quickly found out what life was really about, the reality of things. And that is when it all clicked! I must save myself. This so-called Superman didn't exist in the face of danger, in the face of challenges. We must remind ourselves and our children about reality. That life will sometimes strike you out. It's about how many times you get knocked down or lose, then get back up. Every strikeout leads to the next home run! ~Babe Ruth.
