I remember this day like yesterday. Sitting in the living room when it came across the TV. And I froze. I was in disbelief. She was one of my favorite R&B singer's growing up, writing those 4 page letters and poems..

Aaliyah was a iconic singer. When she opened her mouth and danced it was like an angel gliding across the stage. She had a huge stage presence that touched many people around the world.

A day I will never forget because she was like a role model to me growing up as a kid. Teaching the quite individual how to express their love or thoughts for someone through music and letters. Seemed as if every song she sung was talking about me and my life. Laughing out loud. She's always missed.
