Beware Of Personality Worship

Updated: Dec 27, 2020

In the many years of interacting with certain people. I have concluded that some people suffer from personality worship disorder.

You're probably scratching your head at this very moment. Having that a ha moment. You may be saying that's exactly what it is. People with this trait tend to love the spotlight on them all the time. Having this trait can come with it's consequences. Other leaders can see right through you. Things start to become a little cultist. And at some point you don't want to see anyone else out shine you. I'm here to tell you, it's okay! There's enough light for everyone to shine. Which is what makes us unique. Which is why people may cling to you. But others may fade away. In conclusion, watch your personality worship leaders. You have to learn to pour back into the pond that's feeding you. If you get my drift.
